DETOX: How to detoxify your body... and skin!

The connection between skin health and our lifestyle is very close. Diet, the environment in which we live, the emotional situation in which we find ourselves, are factors that influence our health and, consequently, that of our skin.


In fact, often when the skin appears visibly dull, lifeless, atonic and with more impurities than usual, it could mean that we have an accumulation of toxins that have excessively stressed our organism.

Let's talk about toxins...

To keep our body healthy it is important that toxins are eliminated correctly.


Toxins can come from the external environment or from our own body.

They are a waste product and must be disposed of properly so as not to negatively affect our biochemical balance.

An excess of toxins can mean tiredness, headaches and gastrointestinal problems;

As a result, the skin will also manifest this accumulation of harmful substances with rashes and an unbalanced pH.

And this is where "detox" comes in.

Detox, or detoxification, is a practice that consists in helping the body to eliminate toxins.

The liver is the main organ responsible for eliminating toxins , so to help it do its job, we need to keep it healthy!

To detoxify we must first focus on our diet.

An unhealthy, sugary and unbalanced diet is the main culprit in liver fatigue.


To detoxify ourselves, it is not necessary to fast or drink only purifying herbal teas, it is useful instead to bring healthy and balanced dishes to the table, cooked mainly at home with fresh and seasonal ingredients and filling up on vegetables.
