Yes and No to Summer Skincare
Hi everyone!
As I anticipated by email, after a chat with my friends I asked my cosmetologist to answer some doubts we had about skincare to do in the summer!
Today I want to share with you the dos and don'ts of this season's skincare habits!
Using Scrub in Summer

Yes if:
During the summer, increased sun exposure can cause a buildup of dead cells on the surface of the skin, making the texture dull and uneven.
Using a facial scrub can be an excellent way to keep your skin looking cleaner and fresher.
Here's why:

No if:
However, using scrubs in summer should be done with caution.
If not used properly, it can lead to complications:

Opt for a gentle, non-abrasive product, and limit use to once or twice a week .
Be sure to always apply a high SPF after exfoliating to protect new, more exposed skin .
Also, consider that the best time to exfoliate is in the evening, before going to sleep, so you don't run the risk of immediate exposure to the sun.
Yes to SUN PROTECTION

This one goes without saying, but it bears repeating: apply sunscreen!
And remember to reapply it every two hours , especially after bathing or towel drying.
UV protection is crucial to prevent long-term damage and preserve youthful skin!
Say no to POST-SUN NEGLIGENCE
After a day in the sun, make sure to nourish your skin.
A soothing mask or regenerating oil, like our Regenerating Night Oil , can help repair skin from oxidative stress and irritation.
Yes to ANTIOXIDANTS

Use products that contain antioxidants like Vitamin C , which protect your skin from free radical damage caused by the sun.
A serum like our Antioxidant Serum can work miracles in the morning, super elastic and luminous skin!
Remember that skin care in summer is not just a matter of beauty, but of health !
By following these simple tips, you can enjoy the sun without worries and keep your skin radiant and protected.
